What items can't I put in a skip?
We cannot accept fridges, freezers, oils, tyres, televisions, asbestos, gas bottles, or paint.
Can I mix different waste types?
Yes you can, just avoid the restricted items listed above.
Do I need to be there for the delivery?
If you want the skip placed in a specific spot, it is better if someone is in; otherwise, you do not need to be there.
When and how do I pay for skip hire?
Payment is due on delivery. You can pay with cash to the driver or call our office to make a card payment.
Do I need a permit from the council?

How long can I keep the skip for?
Our skips can be kept for up to 3 weeks. If you require a skip for a longer period, please contact us to discuss long-term arrangements.
Do 2 tonne skips have a drop door?
Our 2 tonne skips do not have a drop door. We do offer drop doors on some of our 5 tonne skips and 10 tonne skips. Please request a drop door specifically when booking, as they are subject to availability.
Can I load the skip while the driver waits?
Yes, if all of your material is ready to go, our driver can wait while you load the skip and take it away immediately.
How much does a 2 tonne skip hold?
A 2 tonne skip holds approximately 25 to 35 bin bags of waste (nearly 2 cubic metres). It can hold a total weight of 2 tonnes if filled with soil or heavy material. This size is ideal for small DIY projects or garden clearances and fits easily on a standard driveway.
Do I need to be there for the skip collection?
No, you do not need to be present for the collection. We just ask that you ensure the skip is clear and accessible for our vehicle.
